expertise in the build up of worn or damaged parts then machined back to their
original dimension. Our metalugurical team will access the working environment in
consultation with the client and then selects the appropriate coating and
application to best control the forces of wear. This has major benefits to the
customer in many forms such as: cost saving, reduced downtime, increase of
productivity just to name a few.
MACHINE SHOP FACILITIES
Turning Up to 2mtr plus in diameter - shafts, journals, slew rings, flanges
Milling Slots,
keyways, vertical, horizontal & helical milling
Cylindrical grinding
Both internal and external. With capabilities up to 600mm in diameter and 2mtr plus
in length. Facilities also including diamond grinding for harder surfaces.
Heat treated & stainless steels, tungsten carbide, ceramic coatings,
hardchrome plating etc.
Slew rings Repaired,
overhauled and manufactured to your specifications. We can also source a new
slew ring for you from the many other manufacturers.
Portable Line Boring
Machines
for sale, hire or we will come and do the job on your site. Excavator/crane worn
pivot holes, worn cable drum spindle holes reclaimed at your site or in our
machine shop.
Portable Bore Welding
Machines
for the build up of worn or damaged bores. Using our portable line borer set up
you can machine, build up the worn bore then re-machine back to the original ID
all in one set up.
COATING APPLICATIONS
Plasma
transferred Arc (PTA)
Plasma Transferred Arc is used for precision welding or cladding/coating
intricate parts. Can be either manually or robotic where high precision coatings
are required
Plasma coating Ceramic
coatings that are extremely hard & brittle. Used
in high temperature, high corrosion wear environments for seal and
bearing surfaces. Extremely thermal barriers.
Metal spray
Application
of tough spray metal coatings for the reclamation of Ferrous and Non ferrous
materials. Used for dimensional restoration, thermal & chemical corrosion
protection, bearing journals and sliding surfaces.
Hardfacing
The
application of hard wear resistance materials that give long life, greater
reliability and increased process efficiency. Can be applied by mechanical and manual systems.
Surface cladding Automated systems for heavy build-up, surface coatings
& internal bore build-ups. Materials include carbon and alloy steels, stainless
steel, bronze, nickel, monel, incoloy and copper.
